This book is much better than the previous edition. It goes into the legal aspects deeper and more thoroughly. Good book.

I agree with the previous reviewer who found that Perry and Potter's "Clinical Nursing Skills and Techniques" covers the same material in a much more thorough, efficient and understandable manner. Before you purchase this book, check it and Perry and Potter out of the library. Maybe you'll be one of the handful who like this book better, but why gamble the money until you know for sure that this book will work for you? If I had looked at both books first, I would not have wasted my money on this one.

WARNING!! If you need the "My Nursing Lab" access code, buy the whole thing from your own bookstore because it's an EXTRA $50 online. I would have saved money if I had done that the 1st time around. Oh well!

I got the book in a very reasonable amount of time. I was very happy with the service provided, and the book was in the condition in which they stated it would be. I really needed this book for my clinicals at the hospital, so I am happy I got it on time, and in the condition they said.

The book was fine and looked like before the horrible packing and handling practices, it was in excellent shape. The box used to ship it in was bent, folded horrbily, and untaped. The book had a nasty gash on the front cover from obviously being caught and yanked on something sharp edged. I will order from Amazon again, but I hope this review will shape whoever shipped my item to have more consideration for my patronage.
